"MALL OF INDIA" one of the biggest mall of the world built in Gurgaon


Mall of India is an under-construction shopping mall in GurgaonIndia. When completed, it will cover an area of 4,500,000-square-foot (418,100 m2), making it the largest mall ever built in India and one of the largest malls in the world.[1] It will have a built-up area of 6 million sq feet (55.74 hectares).[2]
The mall is being developed by DLF Universal. It will be located on the NH-8 highway right at the Delhi–Gurgaon border, near the existing Ambi Mall. It will be spread over 32 acres (13 ha) and will have parking space for 10,000 cars.[3] The mall was due to be open for shoppers by October 2009 but has been pushed back to December 2011 because of changes to its design to include an office complex. The plans for construction have been delayed.Other location like Noida are being thought of the construction of the same. [4]
It is expected to cost 1500 crore INR ($298 million) to build.[4]

Expected daily footfalls of 80,000 on weekend and 120,000 on weekends.[9]
